Founded in 1982, the Industrial Park of Honfleur started operations with AKAI, a well known Japanese Consumer Product company, and was devoted to high volume manufacturing of VCR products. AKAI settled in Honfleur its European manufacturing and logistics operations.
The CS (Communication & Systems) group takeover the site in 1997 to develop its own industrial activities, including production of networking and telecom products. Electronics manufacturing services (EMS) started in 1999.
ALLIANSYS takeover the site in 2002 to develop EMS activity including design, prototyping and test development, PCB assembly, systems assembly and post-manufacturing services. ALLIANSYS customers include companies in consumer products, telecommunications, networking, computing, and other industries as well.
